Subject: thanks for the training
Hi Fernando,
I just wanted to thank you for the outstanding job of training us (Calaveras S and R) last weekend in Big Trees State Park. It was not only informative, but truly fun! As a former primary school teacher, I bet you were a "kick in the pants" to have in a classroom, but I always felt that the busy little boys in my classroom were the truly intelligent ones! Okay, enough about you and back to me. Although I've turned out to be an excellent "lost" person, I loved the tracking and it is something I hope to continue doing. I went running in Big Trees Park this morning and all our foot prints were gone. They have a bulldozer up there and are leveling the roadway, so we certainly picked the right weekend for the workshop.
Again, I just wanted to thank you for teaching us and for all that you do in the real world - finding the lost and saving lives! I'm glad you are writing your stories down, because you are going to end up with one amazing book.
Also, many thanks to Ralph. He was wonderful, too.
Regards,
Janice Brethauer
